Keep reading to learn about a fabulous optical illusion seen while snorkeling.
Following a sailing trip, we were snorkeling close to Lobos Key (Cayo Lobos) near the eastern side of Puerto Rico. While admiring turquoise waters, corals and small fish, we noticed a rare figure on a coral reef: a shape resembling a sculpture of a masculine face profile. The face side-view seemed to be of a Roman or Greek god! See the picture in this article’s photo gallery and search for the representation of the head’s top, left eye, nose, mouth and long wide beard, suggesting that a Roman or Greek god is guarding the ocean.
Never underestimate nature. Sometimes you may be marveled by common natural resources. Appreciate everything in the underwater world.
