mind speak!

Dialisa Lugo, Carolina, P.R.- “I have been a leader for the International Coastal Cleaning Event in Puerto Rico during three years. This experience has been gratifying every year as we achieve to join forces to improve our environment and feel that we are contributing for a cleaner world. Learning teamwork and sharing with others who have the same interests is one of the many benefits.

It is arduous work but I am happy due to the positive impact on the youth, who at the end of the day are proud of the collection of so much garbage. They ask me when to volunteer again. Others let me know about the great job we are doing, and inquire how they can help. In view of these experiences, I feel deeply committed and responsible for nature and its surroundings.” (translation ours)
