For purposes of these Privacy Policies, the term “Website” refers to the ecotreasures website (located at www.ecotreasures.com), a travel, tourism and entertainment information services website application featuring an online non-downloadable magazine application, online directories, other information resources, and related applications. This Website is owned and operated by Intrepid Mesh, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, (hereinafter referred to as “Website Operator” or “we” or “our”).

The terms “you” and “user” refer to the person visiting, browsing, navigating and/or using the Website in any way, and/or interacting with diverse applications found within or available in or through the Website or interacting in any other manner with the Website.

The purpose of these Privacy Policies is to let Website’s users (hereinafter also referred to as “you”) know about what type of information this Website and its Website Operator may collect when you access, use or browse this Website, its content and related services, and applications therein, why we collect it, and what we do with such information.

In order to access or use the Website or any of its functions, you do not have to create a Website’s member account. So, the Website does not provide a Website’s membership account registration form or function. Also, you do not need to sign or log in through a third-party online platform’s account to access the Website per se.

In order to provide the Website’s content and related services, we collect, process and/or store the following:

In general, we may use the information we collect or process about you for the following general purposes: (i) implementation and functioning of the Website and related services, including, but not limited to, support for the Website’s internal operations, (ii) to communicate with you in regards to your request to receive the Website-related email newsletter, as applicable, (iii) to measure interest in the Website and improve our services and Website and its content, (iv) to execute and/or enforce the Website’s Terms and Conditions of Use Agreement, and/or (v) as otherwise described to you at the point of collection of information.

The Sharing of your Information

For purposes of the implementation and functioning of the Website and related services, including but not limited to, support for the Website’s internal operations, we may share information, that is collected, received or stored as a result of your use of our Website and related services, with the following entities or providers:

We may process the Website users’ personal information on third-party servers which may be in the United States of America, including any of its States or territories (hereinafter referred to as the “United States of America”). Thus, we may process your personal information on a server located outside the jurisdiction of your place of residence or the country where you live.

We may share information that is collected, stored or maintained by us as a result of your use of our Website, any applications therein, and related services, if we believe, at our sole discretion, that such disclosure is necessary, for purposes of any of the following:

(i) To comply with legitimate and enforceable subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish or exercise our legal rights or to defend against any legal claim; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, we reserve the right to raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.

(iii) In connection with corporate transactions, including, but not limited to, a merger, consolidation, asset sale, divestiture, or bankruptcy.

We also may share aggregate or anonymous information with third parties, such as advertisers and investors and/or potential advertisers and investors. For example, we may inform our advertisers or potential advertisers the number of visitors our Website receives, and aggregate or anonymous analytics information about Website’s pages browsed and Website’s users. The aggregate or anonymous information that we may share with third parties does not contain any of your personal information and may be used by us or third parties for analysis purposes and/or be considered by us to develop content and/or improve our services.

Your Access to Third-Party Social Media Services

It is your option whether or not to click or tap certain social media icon buttons (plug-in buttons) shown on the Website (e.g., Facebook Share icons, and Facebook Page icon to connect to ecotreasures page on Facebook platform). If while accessing or using the Website you click or tap any of the social media icon buttons displayed on the Website and consequently are connected to a third party’s social media website or online application or service or other website, online application or platform that is not the Website, you will navigate away from our Website and will access the third party’s website or online application, service or platform (either through your registered member account in such third party’s platform or service, if any, or any other online platform’s landing page displayed for unregistered users or non-logged on users). If you do so, you will be sharing information to the applicable third party’s website, online application, platform or service you have connected to. The information you share with any of these third party’s websites or online applications, platforms or services is governed by their privacy policies. We do not control how these third party’s websites or online applications, platforms or services use, store, and share your information. You have the option of searching for, accessing, and reading such third parties’ privacy policies in their corresponding websites or online applications or other platforms.

Nothing provided in these Privacy policies shall be interpreted as endorsement or sponsorship by third-party platforms’ owners in regards to our Website or us. Nothing provided in these Privacy Policies shall be interpreted as a partnership between us and third-party platforms’ owners.

If you do not want to access, through the corresponding icon buttons shown on our Website, your member account in a third party’s website or online application, platform or service, you do not have to do so. Also, you may check the corresponding third-party social media web applications’ privacy settings to turn off your corresponding social media platform account’s integration with other applications and websites and follow the third-party social media platform’s instructions to do so.

You may browse Facebook website or online application to check from time to time updates on instructions on how to turn off your Facebook account's integration with applications and websites.

If you use your Facebook account’s settings to turn off Facebook’s integration with other applications and websites, you may not be able to fully interact with Facebook Share buttons shown on the Website as well as with the Facebook icon that connects with ecotreasures page on Facebook web application.

The above Facebook platform’s instructions are provided herein solely as reference and informational purposes. Nothing provided in these Privacy Policies shall be interpreted as endorsement or sponsorship by Meta or Facebook Platform’s owners in regards to the Website or us. Nothing provided in these Privacy Policies shall be interpreted as a partnership between us and Meta or Facebook platform’s owners.

Your Update to your Contact Information

Subject to you being 18 years old or older and at the same time having the legal capacity required by applicable law to consent to the Website’s Terms and Conditions of Use Agreement (e.g., legal age and/or other related legal capacity), you may update your email address informed for purposes of requesting the Website-related email newsletter, by sending us an email with the updated information to our email address shown on the “contact us” page, accessible by clicking or tapping on the corresponding web link at the bottom of our Website page. However and as previously stated, the free-of-charge Website-related email newsletter publication or delivery is subject to our sole discretion, availability and applicable terms. We may retain certain information associated with email addresses in our archives for analytical purposes and for recordkeeping integrity, backups, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, investigations, compliance with legal requirements, other support for Website’s internal operations, and any other purposes authorized by law.

Your Choices in relation to the Collection and Use of Some Information

As discussed above, you can choose not to provide us with personal information on the Website’s data-entry fields as these are optional. Currently, the Website shows a data-entry field to request, free of charge, Website-related email newsletter, by submitting an email address. If you request such email newsletter and later desire to opt-out from receiving the newsletter promotional messages, you may inform us such opt-out request by sending an email to the email address shown on the Website’s “contact us” page, which is accessible by clicking or tapping on the corresponding web link at the bottom of our Website page.

So, you have the option of not clicking or tapping the corresponding plug-in buttons. Also, you may check those third-party online platforms’ privacy settings to turn off, as applicable, your corresponding member account’s integration with other applications and websites and follow the third parties’ instructions to do so. What We Do to Protect your Information

We want you to feel confident about using our Website, and we are committed to protecting the information we collect. While no website can guarantee security, we have implemented appropriate administrative and technical measures to help protect the personal information you provide us as a result of your use of or interaction with the Website. For example, in regards to our staff, only authorized persons are permitted to access your personal information and they only may do so for purposes of authorized business functions. In addition, we use encryption when transmitting your personal information between your system and ours, and between our system and those of third parties with whom we may share sensitive information.

Children's Privacy

The primary purpose of our Website is to provide travel, tourism and entertainment information by means of the online ecotreasures ® magazine and directories. Our Website, as a whole or any of its portions or sections, is not targeted and not directed to children and teenagers under the age of 18. Even if part of the Website’s content includes information about activities or recreations available or suitable for kids under the age of 18 or places where these activities or recreations may be performed, such part of the Website’s content is not targeted to and not intended to be read, accessed or otherwise used by persons under the age of 18. The content in our Website is directed to individuals who are 18 years old or older so that, in general, they get knowledge of activities and recreations that they may plan, places or restaurants they can visit, and lodging establishments where they can stay, whether solo or with family, friends or others. Should an individual whom we actually know to be under the age of 18 send personal information to us, we will delete or destroy such information as soon as reasonably possible.

External Web Links and Plug-Ins to Access Third Parties’ Online Platforms

In relation to any part of our Website that links you to other websites or online applications, platforms or services, those third parties’ websites or online applications, platforms or services do not operate under our Privacy Policies.
